    It's for the transmission oil heat exchanger. If you look in you will see a small radiator.

    Yep, the inlet is for the oil cooler for the rear mounted transmission.
    Essential for prolonged high speed cruising.

    Its worth talking to professional artists about the pros and cons of symmetry. You need some asymmetry to contrast the main symmetry otherwise you end up with too much of the same thing.
    The designers at Pininfarina know this very well.
