why doesn't ferrari remake all the million $ vintage

    I have thought the same for a while, but there are two practical issues:
    1. FIAT is almost bust and cannot invest in Ferrari, hence the partial flotation of Ferrari;
    2. FIAT have a put option on (I'm pretty sure from memory) Chysler to sell the FIAT Car business (I think without Ferrari, but again I'm not sure) and are negotiating to sell the option back to Chrysler.

    My bet is that they will not act strategically until these two factors are played out.

    1. It's GM, not Daimler-Chrysler with whom Fiat has the agreement.

    2. I'm not sure about the need for a restoration program, but Ferrari is working on a program to reproduce old parts. It's not really a secret.
