Dont realy understand whats going on here. It seems that many threads have included or have been started lately about Jap cars on Fchat. Whats the deal. And no there is no way i am anti Ricer becourse up to 3 years ago i had 2 TT 300ZXs and even now have jap bikes. But when i was posting on the 300ZX forums it was deemed as being a **** to post about any other car other than a ZX, let alone a Ferrari which may have been seen as boasting.
Italian exotics are a far cry from ricers so they realy dont mix IMO. Yes Jap cars can produce alot of power......but.....and?? They IMO carry no boasting rights on a ferrari forum.
I am not saying that no other car make should not be mentioned but fa crying out loud it seems that Ricer owners cant help them selfs with show boating about how powerfull there cars are.
So whats the deal guys?? Now that the pin has been pulled....what say you?.....

I agree, I come here to read about Ferrari. I do have a 350Z (stock) but no point in posting info/questions about that car on THIS forum.

This is obviously Ferrarichat.com!! The reason I come on here is to talk Ferrari's!! I don't want to read or talk about any other brand. What if the magazine Forza started putting articles in about ricers.....I would cancel my subscription in a second.

Not that ricers aren't fast and all that, but I think everybody's grandma, grandpa, aunti-may and the baby sitter has at least two of them.

That is why I don't drive "harley's" because almost "everybody" has one. I drive vintage triumphs that are rarely seen in any significant numbers.

The "uniqueness", and racing heritage of Ferrari are what drew me to the marque. So the same goes for this site, it is about Ferrari's and the people that own and admire them!!! So please lets keep it that way!!!!

I only mentioned my car because of to show that I am not a newb to modding cars. I didn't come on here bragging that I have a 600whp 350z and asking you what your Ferrari had. I came on here asking for input/info on modifications to F355s and how much the average cost to maintain a 355 is anually. The only boasting that I did was about having my car in Super Street and I only did that after you asked if I had come on here to show off my Z to on an F-car forum which I did not. I agree that the 350Z, regardless of hp or handling ability is inferior to a Ferrari.

You need to drive one first, then decide if you need "mods".

One thing I noticed after spending a bit of, let’s quality time in the NSX forum, is how much younger the crowd is over there. Make no mistake, there are some really good people over there also, but there are a main stream of some pretty serious As holes.

There are some nice ricers, with the NSX in my opinion being the top of the heap.

Many of the young people have no understanding of what it’s like to Desire or own a Ferrari, and will never admit, that they do have a serious chip on there shoulder. Most are in an honest state of denial about what actually drove them to purchase an NSX.

I don’t know about any of you, but my desire for a Ferrari was created over most of my life, I hated them, now I love them again. Most of these ricers, remember, I said , “most”, Need to have there car’s be there daily driver.

I would be willing to bet, most Ferrari owners do not use there F-cars as there daily drivers. Choosing, like I to keep it detailed, covered, and for me taken out for special occasions or for fun. The ricer group has a total disconnect with this mind set.

Most ricer owners have never owned an aircraft, after all who would every try to fly there aircraft every day, every where they go?

The most down to earth NSX owner I interacted with were honest Ferrari/NSX owners. Most openly admitted to there disappointment in NSXPRIME, sighting all the screaming flamers.

Look at the posts, try to judge if it’s bate, or genuine. If it’s bate ignore it, it will go away
