Looks like a nice car, at a really good price! I guess the "euro-spec" thing is keeping real buyers away.......................

I would agree on the Euro thing too, but because of the price, I think its a little high for a Euro spec. car.

Well all good things come to end one day. This is the case of the Testarossa. The case here is You have to be a die hard Testarossa lover.
The Marenello is in a striking moode in peoples budget.. IF you consider service cost Insurance Operating cost .. All that factors in peoples minds.. Break down cost.. Its costly.. The Testarossa no doubt its a looker; Like a sexy model however mature is still desirable.. On the other hand you have the 550 Marenello, more powerful. full comfort feature. More options with color interior and exterior. Newer car, Traction control power steering, etc. The Marenello, offers the best both worlds in speed and comfort.

Its a hard choice yes there both Ferraris both are quick cars, and yet very different in taste. What more can I say I have owned two Testarossa's. I love 'em.. No worry the Testarossa will sell however it may take sometime..

Sorry, why would a euro spec car have less value ?
After all... it's an European car ;- )
Because of the speedo in km/h's ??

If I look at the prices here... it's a bargain...

Your right it appeares to me as a bargain also and personally it doesn't/wouldn't bother me but there are folks out there that seem to feel that it may not meet federal laws(biggest concern), or not sure where the car has been prior to import(if it wasn't new) ie; no service records, no warrenty by US dealers, parts etc. I think most of these are not valid reasons at least not to me but to some it seems to be. Even without complete records you can do a PPI and determine quite alot. They seem to have the stigma that salvage title cars have, not quite that bad, but still seem to a problem for some. I think you can get a great car this way and at a better price, but it can be a tuff resale. Regards, Vern

California is a big Ferrari market, and it can cost two kidneys to get a Euro car smog-compliant here.
