    I've been out of town for about a week, and this is the first time that I have seen Brother Bruce's comments. And while it looks like this everybody has kissed and made up (eewww), I'd like to add one more comment.

    Part of this is a generational issue. Simply put, a lot of us old farts find the rap culture to be highly offensive for all the obvious reasons. Rap fans say that rap is the reality of the streets. Maybe so, but the counter reality is that a lot of us don't care. Been three, ain't doing that no mo. I spent my time on the road as a young lad. I just don't plan on going there again.

    When you combine this generaltional issue with the fact that the typical Ferrari owner is an old fart, maybe you can see the conflict that might result when you post a bunch of rap trash on a Ferrari board. I can picture Bruce's reaction when he was checking the Tri-State section to see what's up with other Ferrari owners, only to find a bunch of escapees from MTV.

    So here's my suggestion for you punks. Why not start a thread that is clearly just your sandbox, like Wolfgang did with his "Bonkers" thread in the Euro section? You guys can play bad mofo's all you want, and us old, fascist Republican, warmongering, baby killers can just ignore you.

The European bonkers thread makes no sense to me, but it's not my job to judge what other people (turns out a BUNCH of Europeans) like to do.     I agree with Wellington. This boorish, immature drivel with clear racist overtones has no place on this website-or so I thought. Had I spent much time on this site before I bought my 328 and learned what I know about all too many of the members I certainly would have second thoughts about the kind of people who own Ferraris and perhaps my purchase as well. For Rob to have allowed this thread to continue and fester is unconscionable.

    There are tens of thousands of Ferrari owners in the United States. I bet some of them really, really suck.

    FerrariChat was better a year ago. It has deteriorated as things do as they gain in popularity. Sorry to say I spend most of my time on one of the Porsche lists. It is not the administration that is the cause; it is the participants. The average level of the participants has fallen.

    I would have to agree a little. I think many great users, the type that don't let a single Cavallino or Forza go unread or those that searched the internet from end to end Ferrari related had found FerrariChat.com awhile ago. There are still some great new users, but if you could quantify it, I'm sure it would back up your comment.

    What can be done?

    I'm curious the size of your Porsche community and how they have maintained higher quality users?

    If you are against Buttuz, then doing the subscription argument won't sway you any, but I think most of the subscribers will agree that bliss does still exist. At least as much as it did in the "good ole days". My argument has always been that the "good ole days" weren't that good, people romanticize them.
