For sure, but let's wait for the 765 to be delivered.

I have a few cars. The 765LT is pretty incredible.

Fast fast, engine pops, handles well, seating position excellent, looks so much better than 720 I had. People still don’t know what it is but go out of their way to compliment it. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I’d say a few cars is an understatement. Looks great. Post some more reviews as you can.

    Looks great.
Agree the 765 pulls the design together with an agression and purposefulness the 720 does not quite pull off.

Do we know if Mclaren is in better shape financially? Did they manage to raise the cash they needed? Did they sell their HQ?
I cant imagine all the bankers leaving London will help though.

Splitting hairs at this point...they need to get rid of their designers who clearly are medically blind, not even correctable.

After nearly 10 years since their first car (ignoring the F1), I remain of the opinion that most of their range leaves me pretty cold. Apart from the 675 LT (ticks all the boxes for me) and the P1 (what's not to like?), my interest for the rest of their cars is virtually non-existent.

Technological masterpieces they may be...and brutally fast. But for me they lack soul. They're an appliance to me.

One observation. Pretty much most exotics I see being driven around on road are Maclean’s
Whether that means they’re more durable or more disposable or it’s a different Clint profile I don’t know.
Bye same thing at the track. If there is 1 Ferrari there are 5+ MacklarensZ

Ditto here in Dallas. I have seen one, ONE, F-car in the wild in 5 years of ownership. A dozen or so Macs. Everything from MP4-12Cs to 720s. Say what you want about McLaren, owners seeem to drive them...T

How is that possible? Isnt Dallas pretty wealthy? Even in my suburb i see at least one or 2 per month driving abount (no event related).

I've asked myself the same question! I tend to drive the Cali in the country where roads are less crowded & all exotics are very rare. So, likely that's part of it.

But, even when driving around in the Metroplex proper, F-car sightings have been rarer in my experience than Mac.

Likely an anomaly due to small sample size. But, after 5 years & 25K miles of F ownership, it's always struck me as odd, and I've hypothesized that on average Mac owners tend to drive their cars more.

I'm just taking a guess, but I bet it's because McLarens are leased more than Ferraris and because of that the owners don't worry about putting on miles.

Could be. Can't recall ever chatting w/ a Mac owner who didn't have good things to say about the experience...T
