    It's the perfect family-friendly Ferrari, and also performs admirably on the track (yes, this wife has had it at the track and my instructor was v impressed) or just the exciting curvy roads around here in Austin. I can take the kids to school or lessons in it and pick up groceries along the way (parking warily, of course!) and then blow past everyone on the way home.

    Everyone begs to see that top do its morphing trick!

    It sounds fantastic (ka-pow!) and is easy and fun to drive everywhere. Speedbumps? No problem. (But I do have 19s and not 20s)

    Rick loves to "ka-pow" past Priuses and it makes him feel 18 again! I like the thought of his doing that!

    It's fast...it's sexy...it's under warranty...

    Jennifer- As near as I can figure it out, it goes like this:

    0-49 Rookie
    50-249 Karting
    250-999 Formula Junior
    1000-2499 Formula 3
    2500-4999 F1 Rookie
    5000-9999 F1 Veteran
    10,000-19,999 F1 World Champ
    20,000-29,999 F1 Double World Champ
    30,000-39,999 F1 Triple World Champ etc

    So you will be Formula junior pretty soon. I may have missed one in there somewhere.

    I'm looking forward to seeing the second California here in Toledo ... it too is dark blue.

    Oh yeah, back to the topic. I agree with all of the OP points PLUS seamless i-pod integration,
    cruise control, star wheels, DCT, CCBs standard, great suspension, etc., etc.
    My friend's son thinks my car is a Transformer when the top is actuated.
    Sorry for the sequential posts. I am trying to hit 1000!

    Jennifer, glad to see you and the family are enjoying the car! I have 2 boys (7 and 4) and we will have them riding along as well once the car arrives.

    Yes, I WANT star wheels, but hubby is making me wait till he gets his special car, which he hasn't decided on yet. Boo!

    Ipod integration is so much better than on my new Escalade and I can watch DVDs while waiting for the kids at their lessons!
