    As much as I am eager to go home to Malibu, and as much as the weather here sucks (up to 113 with humidity lately), you can't beat 98 octane gas for about a $1.25 a gallon

    That's awesome. I know this doesn't diminish your point nor would I intend it to, but octane ratings in the US are not the same as octane ratings abroad. 98 octane in Dubai is more like 93 octane or thereabouts over here.

    actually it is significantly higher over here, trust me, I've driven the same car in both places the difference is noticeable
