    It seems that every time Carbon shows up on a thread, someone trashes him, and that person never gets banned, no hassle, the thread just get closed after he's been trashed for a few days? Anyone know the answer to that?

    Art, I saw your post saying that the heat Carbon was getting was in violation of the rules of conduct for F-Chat, and I thought your take was a bit weak. Maybe it is just me, but I don't think someone saying that they disapprove of Carbon's behavior either on or off F-Chat is "flaming or threatening." I have read posts made by you that said things a lot stronger than what was being said about Carbon.

    So I have to wonder why you persist in kicking this anthill. Is Tillman right? Are you trying to stir things up for other reasons? You keep implying that there is a double standard against Carbon, and I have to wonder why?

    Carbon is a grown man who has put himself out there. If he is catching flack, this is his business. He should report any abusive posts to the mods. I could be wrong, but I don't think that Carbon needs you or anybody else to defend him.

    Art, Dale is right. If Carbon is still trying to get junk in order to sue someone, shouldn't he have the balls to do it himself?

    I mean really, after putting himself up on billboards across town for that rap junk, it would be hard to argue that he did not make himself a public figure. In fact, as I recall, that defines a public figure.

    So good luck in the suit.
