When I used to respond to the threads, the thread would go gray but now it goes black. Anyone know why or how I could change it back? I used to use the black ones as knowing I did not read it but now the system is all messed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's been happening to me too. I think it's a terrorist at work..............:p

I use the 'subcribed threads' feature in user controls to keep track of my posts..................................

Not sure if I know what you are talking about yet. It has always worked for me that if you haven't seen the latest post in a thread, then the title would be black and not light grey. It's highlighting what you haven't read yet. Don't know if they fixed a bug in the latest release so that everyone sees it now. I thought most already had this feature.

Rob, what he is saying is this:

Threads the user has not yet viewed = bold type (no problem)

Threads the user has viewed = standard type (no problem)

Threads the user has just posted in = bold type (strange)

If the user goes back into the thread and views his post, then the type goes back to standard. In other words, it's counting his own post as a "new post" to that thread since the last time he viewed it and the thread is shown in bold type until he goes back in and views it again. A little strange (considering he obviously viewed the most recent post if he was the one who made it) but nothing seriously out of order in my opinion.

Eactly. Rob this is exactly what the problem is. A little weird. Just giving you the heads up. Seems to be happening to quite a few people.

Correct. Okay I feel a bit better since it is happening to most of the users out there. I thought it was only me.

I find that it happens to me too. Also, even if I don't post a thread, or read a thread, I find sometimes threads that are a couple days old(If they are still on the front page) will go grey. I don't know if this happens to anyone else, or there is a limit between the time the last post is made and how long it stays black. Just curious. Usually I experience this when I open a thread to read it, get distracted for an hour or two, come back, and click the back button, then the unread threads that were there in black change to grey despite my not having read them yet. Hope that helps
