Who wants to drive a vegetable slicer when you can drive a Mona Lisa?
Brotherhood meet Mona Mona meet the Fratelli they have been wanting to drive you.??????????????????? Image Unavailable, Please Login
348 owner's are simply haters. Really I can't blame them. Having to endure poor performance, and being regularly whiped at the stop light by soccer moms in mini-vans. Plus there is the fact that the car can sometimes be mistaken for a Fiero doesn't help the matter. Really, when you are driving one of the most UNLOVED of all Ferraris, how could you not be bitter. As for the manhood thing, well they are simply upset over the handsome good looks, and POWER of the 355. Don't worry boys, you could always get rid of the cheese graters if ya like. Darrell. .
Now why would we do a stupid thing like that ... We don't like to be grouped with the Asian Mafia... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM look familiar Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here you go Roberto.... .................. I made this for VTC a while back ............. I am not sure if you have seen it .............. the 348 really draws a certain kind of woman ........... Image Unavailable, Please Login
at least our 348's have enough torque to haul those beauties, unlike a 355 that doesn't wake up until 4,000 rpm those soccer moms = milfs, and are great fun; who's the haters? I can tell 348's are unloved by all the ones being bought and filling up this thread cheese graters are my only link to being cool with the TR big boys, like Sonny and Crockett. 355's are, what, related to 456's with the scallops? Thanks for the entertainment! Oh - Fiero's and 348's? I don't think so - first I've been mistaken for a Fiero owner. I'd also suggest you be careful hating Fiero's, they're a pretty passionate bunch over there.
Holy mis-informed post Batman!!! I'm sure you know this already...F1 pump failures are rare especially after the $44 relay swap, and when they do happen rebuilds are $1500. 30s to start? ha! have you ever driven one???? valve guides? c'mon, on the '95-97 cars it's an extra $1500 or so at the time of the major, do it once and you're set for life. '99 is good already! headers? fair game...my new set was $2345 with lifetime warranty, done deal, end of story. power steering problems? huh? anyway in keeping with the fun nature of this thread...90% of statistics can be made to say anything you want 50% of the time! (shameless quote from some recent TV show) Happy motoring, whatever your displacement
The BEST entertainmant happens anytime VTC and Goth are on the same thread! I can't wait to head to CA to see you guys in person! LOL!!
My sincere apologies Chris..... ................ I did not want you falling off that 'non-smoking' wagon............... the pic had 'good intentions'...... ....................its 'the thought that counts' right ?? +1 Some of the razzing does add to the 'entertainment' value of this section ................. !!!!
Exactly !! Now my 'thought' is which Tissot to get from your new store, to match that t-shirt/backpack combo you sent me...... !!!! Anyone who knows Chris knows he is several cuts above the rest..... ................. heck I even started a poll that he won over 90% to validate the simple fact that 'Chris is a good man' !!!! Though he probably would have gotten 100% if he had a 355....... !!! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157374
The 355 is superior because it is the only model offering the following accessory / option (For F1 equipped models). http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=22 BT
ok.............. so the 355 was the first model to have the 'man pedal' removed............... ..................... but thankfully there are still more manual clutches on 355 models as a whole .. . The same cannot be said for the 360/430 though.... !! Here is a pic from that same site.......... : Image Unavailable, Please Login
I hate my 99 355 so much, I'd love to trade it in straight up on a 348. Any takers? There's a reason they stopped making the 348, there's a reason they stopped making the 355, and so on. Unless you're talking about one of the classics (ie. Daytona, Dino, 288 GTO, etc.) OR a limited production of a highly desireable model, there is no way any of you wouldn't trade your cars in for superior Ferrari if money wasn't an object. Who here would trade their 348 in, straight up (meaning no $$$ difference) on a 355 of their choice? How about a 360? Maybe an F430? You get the same B.S with some Testarossa owners when it comes to the 512TR. The 512TR IS the better car!! Get over it already! Bottom line, money comes into the equation. Be happy with what you can afford. I'd give my left nut to have an F430 Spider, but simply can't afford it. There is no way I'm going to come on an internet form and somehow try to jusify how a 355 is an all around better car then an F430!!! Anyone who does is simply a moron. Same goes for a 348 V.S 355. Both are nice cars. Be happy with what you drive. EVERYONE knows which car is faster, better transmission, better interior, better handling, etc. etc.
This thread is about jokes. Note that I indicated the 355 was superior in my post above! After driving a 360 I felt it was the best Ferrari I had driven, and was considering selling the 348 to upgrade, but decided against it after some thought. The 355 is a fine car, but it also loses some of its sports car essence with the amenities it includes! BT
I know it was a joke, but actually they are better. The 355 guys might disagree, and on many points have a valid argument, but overall, the NSX is/was an excellent car and is still brought up as a benchmark by Ford GT engineers and Audi R8 reviewers. If Acura could have just made the engine make the hair on your neck stand up like the 355 does, they would still be making them! (PS-Last NSX oil change $38.00!)
Did I just read you throwing a NSX oil change on the board???? WOW Does anyone really go shopping saying "I am looking for a Ferrari or an Acura in the $45k range?" Anyway, let's just remember what Presidente Luca Montezemola has said of Ferrari upon his arrival, His 348 was the worst Ferrari he had ever own.... That ought to fuel the fire!
