I inquired about it in October when I was up in Grass Valley(1 hour away). The place selling it seemed like a reasonable dealership and service Ferrari's with what seemed to be a good reputation. I would assume all service is up to date then. I'm not sure about previous records. It had been there maybe a month or longer when I inquired. Looks like a nice car, low miles and the price is right. Not a good time of the year to sell a convertible though in Reno, maybe that's part of the problem. Put it in Socal or Florida, better chance to sell. I'd consider it if my driver's lease was already up.

Snipers. People wait to the last minute to put in their bids. That helps keep the price low, otherwise if they threw in their bids now, all other interested parties would throw in a bid and drive the price up. I'd bet the car will see some action in the last 30 minutes of the auction.

one of the pics shows the car presumably at idle. it's idling at 1500 or so RPM. that seems too high, especially when it's warm, as the water temp is past the 195 mark.

Great observation, I missed the temp and tach pics. Great car though. I think at $35 it is good deal. Has anyone run the VIN Carfax?

Heh, thats right around where my mondial idles! Course mine was modified out the wazoo...a turbocharged mondial without the intercooler...It's running rich to avoid the engine burning up..same reason for the high idle....dont ask me how that works.

Someone used buy it now, $35k

The floormat was probably resting on the gas pedal causing the 1500rpm.
Oil pressure just a tad low maybe? (especially for 1500rpm)
    needs a PPI for sure.
