    Interesting piece.

    98 restorations, that's quite a few cars.

I know it’s the internet and everything but maybe you could elaborate a bit or at least send some theories our way?

Alas, I cannot. I have recently dealt with them on something historical records related and found the experience so far, ahem, something other than what I expected.

The title of this article is incorrect as surely Paolo Gabrielli is describing how the cars are restored to how they were originally produced with the imperfections which is the correct mint condition.

No affiliation with PS, but mt_jt poses a fair question, you must have a source that is the basis for the 'rumor' you've posted on a public forum that suggests an established entity may be closing down, so when asked to elaborate, how come you can't?

That figure includes all the cars Classiche Certified PS.... I was one of their business providers PS

I also heard that PS may close the restoration activity and just keep the certification process... but there are so many rumours since Stefan is back...

2020 is the worst year for PS, according to my inside contacts : they got no new car to restore this year.

May be time to change /to re-organise how it works inside...

I happen to know that PS Certification is ongoing, and in fact has expanded to the USA.

It's not surprising that 2020 has been the worst year for restorations, that's expected. As with the Ferrari or Porsche world, there will always be privateer entities that will restore the cars as well if not better than the factory, but there is so much money to be made with restorations and it is such a win-win endeavor that I bet that at some point as these cars continue to increase in value, Lamborghini will reorganize and set up a dedicated facility once Covid-19 is under control. There are many people who want the official factory stamp of approval, as we can see from the other aforementioned makers.

2020 wasn't the worst year for everybody... for instance our US friend Gary Bobileff has several undergoing Bulls restorations and my UK friend Iain Tyrrell has also filled in his workshop with many cars, among them, I sent him 8x Bulls in 2020...

Few people wish the factory invoice compared to the numerous people having their Bulls under retsoration.... for instance back in 2019, I brought several potential clients to Polo Storico, among them 6x have decided to not commit with factory because of the higher budget & delays versus independent workshop quotation...

Another fact that probably influences , is the possibility to make a PS certification anytime, even if you had restored your car somewhere else.... BTW who really care about the note PS... if you have the book, that's all matter as I have several times noticed and collected feedback from owners who did it.
