Well this was the weekend we finally got to opening Mass, sympathy, and donation cards. It was a daunting task to say the least, we set up 2 computers to catalog all the infomation, it took 7 of us 4 hours and hope to finish next weekend. When all was done we had gone though 700 cards all together with more still coming everyday.

We had a system, when we opened a donation and didn't know who the person was we would put it to the side and when we were all done asked who knew the person. My brother in law went through card after card reading the names and said "who are these people, I dont know any of them", well my freinds I can't remember a prouder time with you guys when I replied "those are my Ferrari buddies".

Thank you guys your cards and donations are really heartfelt. The foundation created in my sisters rememberence (which is not going to her children, but which will be a perpetual fund given once a year to a Massapequa student who is in need of finacial aid and will endevour the in the field of science or medicine) we are happy to so far have received $32,600 and plan on doing fundraising with a goal of $100,000 by years end. -MICHAEL
