Not that nice, but had I known I would have bought it just for parts - like those front fog lamps. I could easily recoup the cost of the car just selling stuff off it. Man, a missed opportunity!

The reason it went so cheap was that the fender shields were positioned too low.

It looked like a nice opportunity to "get into" Ferrari ownership. Would make a good daily driver for sure.

I think being in Oregon may have hurt the car. If the car had been more centrally U.S. located then it would have been easier to more people to view/consider/ship/etc. the car. For me, in Dallas, for example, just to see the car would cost around $1000 in airfare, car rental, hotel stay, meals, etc. (More if one considers a potential 2 days or so of missed work.) Then, if I bought the car, to ship it back to Dallas would cost at least $1500 for an enclosed carrier. Now we're up, for me, to around $33k before even thinking about servicing the car.

And, of course, since the car is from Oregon, it would cost another few hundred bucks in detailing expenses to get the smell of the "mary-jane" out of the seats. (I kid -- I used to live in far northern California, and the whole northern Pacific region was known, back then, for its rain, beautiful coast lines, friendly people, and, well, the other thing.)

judging by the high bidders handle, a dealer bought it. It'll be cleaned up and for sale again in a few weeks with a minimum $45K price tag.
Make note of the VIN, so we can beat up on the seller if it ends up on ebay again! lol
