I agree. I also think its a shame it was rebodied. The rebody car will always be just that, a rebody. This car was unique, however you felt about it.

Nearly bought that car, about 7-8 years ago now I guess. It was with some guy in Sydney. The whole meeting, with this guy and the car itself just did not seem right. First thing he showed me was a photo of him and Enzo together, which immediately put me off. Thank heavens I did not buy it.

Who knows. You can have your photo taken in reality with anyone now days. At a Ferrari get together I attended in the past there were something like 10 or more F1 drivers there past and present. Every man and his dog were pushing to get next to one of them to get a photo taken. Probably to tell others they were great buddys.

Did anybody watch Gerhard Berger pedal the English-designed 640 around Goodwood today? Impressive, even for “demonstration” laps. He even managed to give the skid plate a sparking good whack.

As far as derailed threads this take the all time cake.

To go back on topic I always found this aberration to be the worst ever among coachbuilt Ferraris and am glad it no longer exists.

Also some people did not understand this thread has nothing at all to do with F1.

Ok, I’ll give myself a thread ban, then. :(

Still, Berger was fantastic in the 640.

Please don't we'd miss you;-) Instead you might want to find choice words to describe the atrociousness of the thread topic vehicle:eek::D
