What's funny is that I picture the two thread starters having similar personalities. Neither are bad people, just insecure. The kid is pretending to have made it and the guy with the Enzo is saying 'look, I've made it' like he's worried that he's living in a house of cards that's about to collapse and he needs to demonstrate what he has before he loses it.

Maybe we're being too critical, but I just have the impression that this guy is trying to buy class with his money.
