    I am in the car business and I can understand why we auction everyday cars, but why take a 348SS. A 94 no less, with only 11k. Red and Tan. It runs today in California. Be on the look out for this car to be in the market real soon.

    I am a dealer myself and I will tell you why . I have in most cases see any rare or exotic car sell for almost or most than retail at auction . The average sale price of a 348 spyder at hi line sales in this counrty is around 55k mileage 25k average .This reflects an as is, check in hand sale no ?'s. PPI'S .tire kickers ETC . When I decide to sell my 348 I will not even bother with trying to retail it . There have been some with low mileage that have topped 60k .

    Strange that you mentioned this because I was thinking the same thing this morning (also in the car biz). I wanted to go on-line and see the actual auction take place but I had other things to do. Does anyone know if it sold and for how much? I purchased my 348 at the Manheim Chicago auction and surprisingly the car is in great shape.

    Probably priced just about right at $53K assuming needs a major service and nothing else.

    Only 15 serie speciale's made in '94. That in of itself does not seem to make them worth more on th market.
