Why would anyone pay that for this car.
The engine is a Ferrari 246 , so I presume gearbox as well, and the chassis off a 400i.
Even in parts not worth the sold price.
Then you have to think of destroying the body.
Thats going to cost a lot, best to use dynamite.

I’d probably kick her out if she ate crackers in bed. But fix the nose. Put a F360 motor with a Tubi in it and scare the **** out of everybody. We have some good plastic surgeons here on FChat.

I did not buy it by any means, but this is an Alloy body TR and on (or at least titled 400) chassis.

Given the engine and such, this was an ABSOLUTE STEAL, one of the Very Few at the Ponder auction. Lots of junk sold for big numbers, I am certain this was the deal That could have been had.

Apologies, but your going to have to explain to me how a visually terrible aluminum body stretched over a 400i chassis of all things and having a dino engine is a “steal” at $154k. Maybe the engine is worth $25k and that’s the bulk of the value I’m seeing here. Beyond that, it’s a scrap heap and with any justice some NFT producer will buy it and blow it up for artistic value.

Stance is wrong in the front, sits way to low. If you raise it up to correct height it will look much better. 100% great deal

Its a poor copy IMHO, agree with previous poster. Stance is all wrong and lacking in any detail, gauges all wrong for a start ......

this one is way better. RHD converted.

Would love to own either. I have been looking for a while but they never come up for sale or maybe I am looking in the wrong place? Any help on a left hand drive TR replica would be much appreciated. Thanks
