What is this all about? Did some 355s really have a "wide track" rear axle?

Mine seems wider, I have 15mm right to the outside edge of my rear fender measured directly off the the outside of the wheel lip. I have read where owners have installed 15mm spacers and they worked just fine, If I did this I would have to roll my fender edge.

Is everyone taking an fchat break cause I fully expected an answer by now... anyone?

I did a little home work on Wikipedia and found this.

    Serie Fiorano
For 1999, Ferrari introduced a limited production of F355 Spider models designated, "Serie Fiorano." Launched in March, 1999, this limited production run of 100 planned units (104 actually produced) included a number of performance enhancements:
    • Competizione-derived Fiorano suspension pack, featuring wide track, stiffer springs, a thicker anti-roll bar

Not sure if the wide track on the Fiorino means a wider rear axle or they had spacers behind the wheels.

Michael Schumacher's much coverd 1997 factory F355 had a 20mm wider track both front and rear, (As well as the famous 10,000rpm engine}. This was acheved via factory fitted spacers on each brake disk. And he would have had the very best spec anyone could get on a f355.
So its my guess that any factory 355 never had a wider track any other way other than spacers.
