Hey have you guys seen this show? If not this is the idea: Two households with different values swap a parent for two weeks, the first week the swapped parent (usually the wife) lives by the rules of the new house. The second week the swapped parent gets to make up the rules. I love this show, I think it's hilarious. I especially like when they swap a "creative artsy" family with a "conservative by the book" family. My favorite was when they swapped a conservative chrsitian republican house, with a gay liberal house. So funny. What do you guys think?
The only one I saw was the one where the swapped a poor family where the mother drove a bus and chopped wood with a rich family where the mother had "me time" which was really "buy me expensive jewelry and clothes time" a few nannies for the kids and spent more time in the gym than with her kids. It was rather entertaining.
"Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses ... so we can make fun of them." Tolerance, mutual respect, co-existance -- and the lost mine of El Dorado. Things of the past, eh? The purpose of broadcast television is to shut down the viewers' brains, so the commercials don't look so stupid by comparison. Even "Star Trek" was condemned by the networks because it was "too cerebral". (The "salt monster" -- too intellectual??!!) Conformist intolerance makes the cattle easier to herd.
My wife's surgeon was the japanese with the really *****y blonde wife on one of the first episodes. Dont these rich ladies know they are just picking them so the can turn them into a money grubbing villan?
