Wild burbling on decel - 430 Scud (w/ Mods)

    Hi Everyone!

    We have a Scud which had a full exhaust system (SuperSprint headers, High Flow Cats, Kline Catback. The car was wildly loud, so we put the stock cats and mufflers back on.

    Since then, on deceleration the car burbles like its a bmw with a crazy tune which is very annoying! We replaced the pre-cat o2 sensors (as that was the CEL code), and thought that would possible be the culprit.

    Does anyone know if this setup is conducive to this type of sound? Or any idea what to chase next on it for investigation?

    That's an interesting sound. Could the exhaust valves be fluttering? maybe try temporarily disconnecting/capping them just to see what happens.

    @Rjvb3 - That was my next thought. It feels like the actuator may be stuck - it does have the Kline Inconel valvetronic button. It happens with both valves closed and open. Obviosuly more pronounced when valves are full open, but perhaps something to look into there.

    That's weird, also sounds different than most burbling/decel pops. Maybe just bc the windows were closed?
    Long shot, but any chance something got into the stock parts while they were stored? or the stock cats got damaged/clogged?
