    Holy Crap!!! What the hell were they thinking! Go back and look at the cars tires, they are racing in slicks!!!!!!!!! There must be 2" of rain on the track, "stupid is as stupid does!", to quote Forrest Gump.

    Some of the wrecked cars seemed to be on slicks. No wonder they were all over the place. They were driving way too fast for conditions which leads me to believe the rain just started. What a mess.......

    I remember watching that race; it was a freak downpour on an already wet track. Most of the drivers had opted for slicks at the beginning anticipating the track to dry completely during the race, then the rain hit and before anyone could get back to the pits a bit of a mess had ensued. Safety car was out within seconds of that, then red flagged. Good thing no one was hurt, but that’s racing.
