I should be out there by 11am and will stay until 4-5 pm. Come on out if you want to have a look and I can give rides to those that dare on a green track (recent rain) and hard tires. :D To me that just means "more fun".

If the car is parked and I'm no where in sight, then I'm either getting some food or went for a long run. If that is the case I could be gone for up to 90 minutes.

DAMN!!! I was thinking about heading out there today. But I woke up at 11am, figured the track was still going to be wet, and decided against going.

    Hey guys,

Just got home - what a day! Meeting was great - lots of ideas, great to see Carol & Don and Dave again (and Rob at MSP) and meet Will. Had a wonderful time at MSR and hope to do it again sometime. Any time you need pit crew personnel Rob, just let us know as we are always willing to help.

    Carol & John

Turned out to be a really nice day. Track was dry by the time I got there and good temps and perfect sun.

I have 3 apologies for everyone that came out.

#1: Sorry I had just finished up with my first session when you got there.

#2: Sorry I wasn't a very good host and had to go get my run in.

#3: I never had a power brake failure before, but there's a first for everything. Sorry Dave you only got a couple slow laps in and sorry to the pit crew you didn't get to see me scaring the heck out of Dave. :)

So besides me, hopefully you enjoyed watching the other cars.

FCA member Colin was out there too in his Audi race car.

Don't worry about Rob, these things happen. At first I didn't know what was up when didn't stop at the paddock.

btw, I was really great to meet fellow Fchatters & putting names with faces today.

Quit apologizing! Hell, that was the highlight of my week! Trust me, I had a grin on my face the whole time. Still do. :)

    Rob -

Did you happen to notice if any work was done to my lot? The foundation should have been poured last week.

There may have been some ground level work, but nothing was sticking up. Just the cement one next to you (is that Keiths?) and the foam one down the way.

Will H and I walked over from the paddock to look at the condo lots... If I recall correctly, there were two lots with the first floor walls up (the cement form and foam form ones that rob mentioned above), and there were one or two slabs that were framed out, but not yet poured. I don't recall any slabs that were poured, except for the two that had walls. Maybe Will remembers differently.

The cement one belongs to some guy who lives in Alaska and the foam one belongs to a guy who live in Daytona Beach. Each will be using their house as a vacation home. Keith's build date is on hold as they work on re-doing the building plans. He is getting an 8 car garage and those plans are not complete yet. Mine will be a 6 car garage.

I am going up immediately to to the right of the concrete building (if you are looking from the track) and will be another foam looking structure. Sounds like the rain last week pushed the schedule a few days.

Don't know yet, this one would be more fun as it is colder. :) Way too hot last time.

Well the date is not yet set, but I will keep you posted when it’s set in stone. It would be nice to have a few more Ferrari’s there this time around. As for the temp I agree with you, but I always keep in mind that girls tend not to get naked in the cold. But then again its all about the cars, right?

Good to see you too Rob. I think your electrical problems were as Norwood described - alternators cannot get excited when the battery level drops below 10 volts or so. Nothing will restore them. The car sounded good though as you blew past.

I will be out next weekend weather permitting. Cant test electrics in the rain - just too many exposed connections.
