Will Buxton, speed pit interviewer, should/will

unfortunately i believe he's been resigned. i find him the major disappointment of every broadcast. unlike windsor, he never has any cutting edge info (its all recycled from other sources) and he frequently misreads situations. that plus his inability to standstill during any on-screen footage makes me go for the jump button on the dvr. i think the paddock is of similar opinion; every interview he gets seems to go like a school-boy asking for an autograph.

his own issues not withstanding, i was looking forward to what i heard was windsor returning to speed mid-season or in 2012. any update on that?

 

I greatly prefer Peter Windsor. Will is all about Will, I find him tiresome and annoying.

I like Buxton, I hope Speed keeps him on. If he has to be replaced, please don't bring back that chump Windsor.

 

Good or bad at least Peter has and knows lots of history with F1. Which he then shares with the viewers as it relates to the current situation he is covering. Buxton always sounds like he is on a holiday...

I think PW is the lesser of two evils if its between him and Buxton. I cannot stand Buxton; everything from his delivery to his inability to not bounce up and down drive me nuts.

I'll take wet behind the ears Buxton any day over blowhard BS artist PW any day of the week. Nothing will re-establish his credibility in my book. I am embarrased for the guy.

 

Pee Wee will probably get less respect from the people he interviews due to the "toaster" debacle and embaresment he made of himself and the USA.

I have to give Peter Windsor credit for trying. It is a lot easier to sit back and criticize those that try than to do themselves. I wish USF1 had become a reality, and hopefully with 2 US Gp's Bernie will allow that last few grid spaces to come from our shores.

 

I like Will and his youthful exuberance! Unlike PW always complaining, "its really hot down here on the grid", shiny forehead aglow in the camera!

Its all just entertainment anyway, there will never be any real hardcore commentary, so go with the guy thats at least likable!

 

Both are OK.
Pee Wee does have more insight but Will doesnt stand in between the camera and the pit girls. He knows what side of the bread the butter is on.
