    And what has that got to do with a car race in Europe?

    The calendar is full with tragic events in humanity's past. We could be commemorating the loss of human life at every sports event year round.

    When the Ferrari team raced with black noses on their cars ten years ago, the events just happened and the coverage was global. Ten years later this is more of a national event.

    PS: On a sidenote there were also lifes lost in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon. IMHO there is too much focus on the WTC.
