Been thinking about a 612 as a Daily for a bit and a 360 in the garage instead of the audi Murci............

Question is, what bath will I take on a 612 over 3 years d'ya reckon?

Car would abe a used 612 mind.

A guess but if you buy at around £130k you'll trade in for 1/2 that in 3 Years with average (Ferrari) miles, even less if more miles

Maybe but late model 456 are still 50-60K. I don't think from here at c.130K, you are going to lose more in percentage terms than any other high end car (997 Turbo etc).

Its a big question, much like will house prices crash....so I'll take a guess but no more.

I think 50% in three years is steep on a used 612. A good spec early one, £120-130k with reasonably miles, I reckon would be worth the best part of £90-100k in 3 years.

Don't quote me though, as who knows what else will happen in the economy.

Would a 550/575 do? Although they don't have the rear seats, I think their residuals will be much better compared to today's prices.

In all honesty I will probably keep the Audi for my daily and get a 360 as a stop gap for the garage but will need to sell the Murci maybe next month.

Probably eweill just trade it as I'm sick to the death of private sales now!

Personally Paul I think you should get a 6.0.

Amazing car, amazing looks, amazing performance and amazing resale value.

    Orange of course.

Do like the idea of a 612 though but for that money, I'd buy something else.

nah a 6.0 is going backwards IMO the Murci is a much better looking car, more modern, but each to their own.

Will probably see if I can get a 360 for maybe 6 months then get a Murci Roadster as I am really into them!!

The 550 does seem like the 'bargain' now, having taken its largest depreciation hit already and still being a modern car.

it is on the list James I must admit..........just think they are a bit strong at the moment unless I was keeping it for a while, and I was more thinking about getting an early 360 for 6-9months and then either selling it or getting an egear Murci Roadster also and letting her indoors have the 360 as she likes them.

To be honest Paul you should be more concerned with this summers Mamas and Papas range ;)

You really need to get a grip, fatherhood is a big responsiblity. Finding a suitable buggy that will fit in the bonnet any of these cars is challenging enough :)

Murci Roadster is the way to go, F the weather, think of the sluts!

One of the nicest looking cars in the world and everybody knows it.

I'm just unhealthily obsessed with both the diablo 6.0 and Murci Roadster and would really struggle to choose one over the other.

Either way, your going to have to get an outrageous colour for it.

I always remember the first time we went for a test drive in the 360 over in Egham
My wife was more interested in checking that the pram fitted in behind the seats than anything else - I think it was this fact that convinced them that I was a serious buyer

I remember having a Porsche 996. We had to get them to wheel about five different strollers out of M&P before we found one that fitted. I subsequently realised you can get one from Porsche ~ from memory the price wasnt too sensible tho.

back on topic, i can see no reason why 612 should buck the front engined V12 depreciation cycle. I honestly think you'll get caned on price, Paul. Mark's bang on the money and should know having owned a 550 and 575...

who do they make these cars for then if they drop like stones, is it purely for the uber-rich who want a V8 and V12 as a daily??

I am growing to like them alot and with 4 seats is truly an easy pleaser, but reckon I'd still want a V8 for the track!
