Will Lindsey Lohan really do time?

personally, I am a little sick of all this legal haggling over drug abuse??? The justice system should be taking down criminals...like politicians and bankers. MOST of America is on some kind of drug....drunk and full of pills is LEGAL = wtf????

 

Let me ask you, if you heard on the news that some thugs showed up at someones house and said 'we are here to rob you but we wont force ourselves in...you have to let us in'. And then the home owner opened the door for them...

What would you say ?

Most (if not all) would say the homeowners are a bunch of idiots and deserved what they got.

Thats how I feel about drug use. I have zero sympathy for anyone who gets caught up in drugs, alcohol or anything else.

They made a choice.

 

This jibes with my thoughts. Unless they are drunk/stoned 100% of the time, these sad folks make the decision soberly to pick up the bottle/piils/needle. Why?!

There are soo many healthy alternatives- counseling...exercise...spiritual journeys. Why get smashed?

Not everyone is born equal. And by that I mean both nature and nurture.

She's lookin' at 60 days for two failed tests... she'll probably do two weeks.

 

No, I think the judge will start to use her as an example. The next sentensing will be tougher. The judge has to look at this as the first probation was obviously not considered much of a treat or taken seriously.

Robert Downey Jr. hit rock bottom and started a comeback. Lindsay can do it also but only under 3 conditions:

1) She has to believe she's at rock bottom (I'm not sure she does yet)

2) She gets rid of the corrupting influence around her

3) She gets the proper treatment instead of the Hollywood band-aid treatment.


There is one more thing. In the next time, don't look for much public sympathy. The second time people will look at her as simply pathetic.

People do make choices. But, coke is also additictive. It takes more than just saying you don't want to do it anymore. You have to change your life.

 

Whose keeping count how many times she's gotten on the wrong side of the law? Thing is, they're too lenient with her, i assume. She should come here..

 

Does it even really matter anymore? She's Britney/Paris 2.0... who cares. She's toast
as far as her career.

But I vote 30 days just to give her time to get off the **** in the first place.

No she can't. Men and women play under a different set of rules. Women have to be really attractive to be useful. In my opinion, she is no longer attractive and therefore, unemployable (except for smaller bs or naked roles). She pissed away her meal ticket.

RDJ is incredibly talented. Lohan is a novelty and will never have a comeback like RDJ or Mickey Roarke.

However she may continue to make millions as a novelty but thats regardless of if she has a drug habit or not.

 

Perhaps "Vincent" ought to leave some Choco in his coat for LiLoser to find . . .

Absolultely no question about your opinion of the two. But, I think you can remember the time when EVERYONE said his career was over. People will forgive if you make the effort.

She's young. She has a long way to go before her looks start to fade (especially in Hollywood). As long as she's a draw, she'll have a career. But, she needs to get off of the TMZ scandal of the week -- which she used to promote instead of prevent -- and get back to showing whatever talent she has again.

I'm no supporter. I just look at human nature. She's far from washed up but she has to change.

 

Yea, she'll probably do minimal time. She obviously still puts getting high over all else and will continue to fall.

 

Maybe she could do a sex flick with Paris, Britney, and Nicole as her comeback

I guess what Im trying to say is LL can continue to make millions and keep her drug habit...so there is little impetus to change.

She may not have a theatrical career anymore but there are plenty of other entertainment choices that will pay her and not care that shes wasted.

She can probably sign a $15-20m reality show deal tomorrow...

Send her on a plane to Germany (no, I'm not about to make some concentration camp remark ), get her to be mates with Sabine Schmitz and Walter Rohrl, and get them to teach her how to drive...

Being on the limit (and actually making it) will release dopamine (just like cocaine does) and give you a natural high. Only by doing it properly (be it doing awesome tricks snowboarding, skateboarding, FMX, or just driving really quickly/drifting) people will regard you as herr/fraue awesome instead of billy no mates with too much money and no self control..

Besides, if it all goes wrong, what's cooler than dying in an explosion of awesome? Surely not bleeding out of all your holes outside of a Hollywood club and then all your 'mates' will get rich of telling your life story on their brand new reality TV show...

I'd like to see her get a nice 8-12 month sentence and actually have to do 2-4 of it. Dont think it will happen though.

 

I wonder what the "over/under" is on her OD'ing before her next Court date...
As long as she is surrounded by people who make a living (and a name) for themselves by coddling her and making lame excuses she'll continue to go downhill. Her only hope is to divorce her parents, most of her so-called friends, and her "handler's", check into a serious rehab program for at least 6 months, and then she might have a chance at surviving.
Why do I not see that happening???
