Will Stig be fired?

While an interesting thread, this is borderline F1.

I'll let it go since the there F1 stigs (although those were real F1 drivers).

But in general I would think this is better off in other racing.

Seriously though, all this talk about Ben being the Stig, makes me hope that he can keep his job! I've seen Ben in person, and judging by his build, he's obviously ONE of the Stigs. I'd say he was definitely the Stig who was testing the M3, RS4 and C63 at the Ascari test track, just by judging from his build, and the fact he's a test driver for Ascari. There are a couple others though, the BBC admitting there are in fact 4 of them, so who knows who the others are. They can be any touring car/GT driver who has a bit of spare time on their hands, especially the British ones.

I hope not he's a bloody good driver, i thought he was amazing in the 24 hour Brit race at Silverstone. But they've done it before so you never know but i don't think they will do anything just yet.

Who is the Stig's fat American cousin (aka "Big Stig")?

 

It has been known for around 2 years now that Ben Collins IS one of the stigs, or at least the 'main' stig. As soon as the Health & safety report was publicly released about hammonds crash it mentioned 4 presenters, JC, JM, RH and Ben Collins (although it didnt mention that he is the stig).

He doesnt do all the driving, for instance when Ferrari brings a new car down they normally let Luca Badoer or Marc Gene do the power lap.

He has appeared once or twice in the show as Ben Collins, first one that springs to mind is when he had to drive the mercedes SL55 and some parachute dude had to land in the passenger seat with him.

But since he is named as a main presenter in the H&S report you can gather that he is the main Stig.

While he would be fired for this being known is beyond me however.

Other time was the soccer with cars. When they were picking people, Hammond had Ben on his team.

 

It is one of the points of the show, ie: nobody knows who he is ... this adds mystery.
