I'm not certain about modern Ferraris, but I can't image the day when there aren't 2800 men on the Earth who want one of these, even if gas is $50 a gallon.
The things are absolutely beautiful. (I didn't design it, so I can say that without boasting.)

    Short answer: No, never.

    Longer answer:
The Dino has so many other things going for it, besides beauty. Unlike many other exotic collectibles, you can actually go for a drive in it. It is eminently usable even in today's traffic, yet it is very rare, and very desirable. It is a joy to drive, with nimble, well balanced handling. Add to that, a slightly raw but soul-stirring engine with direct bloodlines to vintage F1/F2 machinery. Last but not least, pretty enough to be placed on a turntable in your living room! What more can anybody ask from a collector car?

I can see only more demand, and not enough supply, for these cars. And that is without taking into account all the new potential customers for collector cars in countries like China and India. If those markets ever wake up and discover cars like the Dino, hold on to your hats.

So, no, I don't think the day will ever come, when nobody wants one of these!

...and engine compartment lid too! I am one who favors sticking to what's original, or a faithful reproduction of it.

    Short answer:

    NO

Longer answer, in the words of an esteemed Fchatter:

A Dino is NOT a Ferrari. It's better.

Imagine when the Chinese start collecting older cars in a big way.

I know what you're saying, but I love the sound you hear with this system. And not losing power on left turns. :)
