Really curious if the F12 will come out with a front lifter as an option? The car is definitely too low in the front to clear speed breakers.

Yes only for the Front axle as the 458 Italia
The supplier is always Magneti Marelli.

Im told the initial cars produced this year do not have the lifter option. Cars produced after Feb 2013 will have.

What did you go with for exterior - interior colors?
Is the dark privacy glass that we have seen standard or optional?

I believe it is in the order specification but available only after a certain date. Will get more clarity soon.

Privacy glass looks great, option. I was brave no shields ! All carbon interior, leaf seats, Nero/charcoal atelier suggested grigio titanio and it looks fantastic, accentuating the curves, rear around contrived fog light. No gallo or alloy calipers available due to paint heat degradation.
Also front lifter and various specific design cues which will relate later.
    So some facts from Maranello
    V 12 production is 6 cars a day, some 458 's on V12 line to meet demand
    Observed already 40% F12 and 50 % FF.
Future is 66% F12' which is
    4 cars a day, 5 days 47 weeks/ year. 940/ year
FF is going to be rare with long waiting within few months
    No 4 wheel F12
New California before we know it , turbo V 6 ?
Also saw new Enzo, boy it's wide and low !

When does your car go into production? Did you order the front lifter? Also did you manage to see some different colours on the F12?

I ordered front lifter, has to have auto adjusting headlights, saw colors as follows
Launch red has a metallic burgundy/candy hint, ok but not me
Matt alloy interesting but not a color to live with, nightmare to maintain as daily driver
Nero hides lines , but Luca drove off in one last night
    Yellow- gross
    Rosso scud underestimated
Grigio Silverstone partly hides lines but mean
My choice Lighter grigio titanio despite being an older color shows sharp creases and is suitably mean with two tone wheels and carbon wheel inserts and privacy glass
Don't forget rear hatch glass is large and for US may be powered,
Production date not determined, some time within 9 months.

No pics of course, it was just tooling around the factory, same as matt black pics captured on public roads around Maranello few weeks ago

I did not see one, but late in the production line most cars are covered in velcro attached body panel protection so there may have been. There were at least a dozen FF's in white a special order for some Arab potentate I was told, also one outside for mangement, looks better than I thought it would.

Did you order the passenger display for RPM and speed or is that standard? Also how was the rosso corsa?

Wow. This thread is a good one! Thank you for the info Cariad! I was also given a 9-10 month order time.

RSM, if we go for the front lifter now, needless to say our cars will be produced after feb 2013 right? We would be paying the deposit now for a slot I think, whilst the production will begin somewhere around March/April(as I was offered May delivery , which I am very keen on taking up).

Thanks Cariad for the the 'inside scoop' on various colors and options! The Grigio Titanio is a personal favourite for the reason that you mention. That particular shade of silver really shows the design details in a subtle and not too flashy way. Silver by comparison looks washed out.
Was any F12 you saw fitted with the optional wheels seen at Geneva?

Yea bro! If you put a deposit down now you will get it by May/ June. This car definitely needs the lifter as its way too low for our roads. Will be in Maranello at the factory next week so will update you.
