To the best of my Knowledge, nothing announced yet but, you can rest assured, someone will be doing it in 1/18th. Wouldn't even consider Exoto because of their extremely poor advertising practices. Not unusal for them to advertise many years in advance of the actual release date and, that's on the assumption the model ever gets to market, some have not. You would have a much better chance with a company like Kyosho or Autoart. BBR, as yet, is an unknown player. Much depends on the success of the 1/18th Enzo (actually manufactured by Minichamps).

    Good Luck,

If any of you guys like 1/43, BBR made a perfect kit of the MC12 and one of the most talented builders I use for Miniwerks did a series of the Geneva Car Show version for me. I still have two left. Here are pics. The wing comes shipped off the car. The model is so long compared to other models but then the real car is of course. These are built by Rosso and his quality surpasses even factory BBR and factory BBR is very, very good.

    Hi Mike,

Saw pictures of the Rosso 1/43 MC12 in dark blue metallic. Very nice, I'd like one! If you would, please drop me an e-mail to discuss payment.

    Thanx,

    Alan

There was an ad in Diecast X magazine of a Mattel pre-order 1/18 MC12 (white/blue). I think late summer.

I know the car was not actually produced in red, but I'm a Ferrari collector. I'm glad to add a couple of Maseratis to my collection, because in my view these are the modern Dinos...lower-end Ferraris, or Ferraris that Ferrari couldn't make under their own badge, so they're marketed as Maseratis instead.

The MC12 is made either all in dark blue (as it is seen racing) or in the white/blue combination they sold the homolgated street cars in. But I'd still like a red one to put in my collection, because this is, after all, the Enzo GT.

I can't be the only one who wants a red MC12, can I?

Speedgear is advertising the Mattel 1/18 MC12 for an August release. Shown in the latest catalog.

A red one would look good. Maybe a darker red, so it doesn't look too much like an Enzo.

    Scuderia red, absolutely.
It's a Ferrari, and it should be in the same red as other Ferraris.
