    Help... will these tires and rims fit an '84 Mondial Cabriolet: Michelin TRX 240/55 VR415. They are from a 400.

    I current have Michelin TRX 240/55 VR390 on the car.

    No. The 390 is the mm diameter of the rim. The 415mm dia tire will not fit 390mm rim. Another word you have 15.4 inch rims and 16.3 inch tires.

    I initially thought the same thing when I first read this post: 390 vs 415 = no way, but if you read Charles' post more carefully (I believe) he's talking about using both the tires and wheels from the 400 so I think it really gets down to just the offset differences of the wheels, if any (i.e., I'm guessing that the 5x108 bolt pattern and 67mm hub diameter should be the same).

    IIRC, the Mondial wheel offset was something like +55mm (and you could always pull a wheel/tire off your Mondial and measure it yourself -- knowledge is power ;)) so if you can get the Seller to measure the wheel offset on the 400 set you could compare -- just a thought...
