My wife and I drove the 328 to a nice dinner last night. She started talking, again, about wanting to drive it. The problem is she is 5'0" tall which creates two problems. 1) steering wheel location and 2) her ability to completely engage the clutch due to the seat position. I have found a local outfit that has removal pedal extensions but I am thinking of purchasing a wheel spacer as well.

Will either of these two wheel spacers fit an original 328 steering wheel setup? I am not sure which model of Momo steering wheel the 328 came with.

    Dan,

A 328 wheel has a bolt circle diamter of about 2 3/4". Keep in mind that the angle of the wheel can be adjusted also, through a limited range. Remove the lower dash trim piece under the steering column to get a better view.

    Cheers,
    Jeff

    Thanks Java,

I adjusted the tilt a few years back and found it more comfortable for me but it doesn't help my wife's situation. I am kinda hoping she lets this go as she drives her Lexus as if it were a Nascar. I had to replace her rotors at 40,000 miles after having been turned once at 20,200 miles.

The spacer should work - I have one on my car. JUst verify the bolt heads are the right ones for your steering wheel.

    Pad,

Can you be more specific as to which of the Ebay listings? I noted they state they are for two different Momo steering wheels.

    Thanks

The second listing that you posted lists the 2 3/4" bolt circle diameter, so I'd assume that's the one you want. If you're concerned about it, email the seller and explain what you are trying to do. Or, just order a spacer from your local shop They aren't that hard to find.

Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel why not spend a little more and buy the Hills item from Ricambi that is a completely known and tested item with many satisfied users worldwide

+ + + I found the ebay spacer needed massaging to work, true (it in my case) it bolted up ok but the actual id was too large for horn button to ''snap in'' like oem,it was no way to make it work except to machine a spacer/adapter to slide onto the horn button and into the ebay spacer to make ground contact.(so horn would work) So, instead of reworking somethng, get one designed to work out of the box.Just my opinion from my own personal experence

I am glad I didn't buy it yet after reading the last few posts. I think I am going to buy the pedal extenders first and see how she fits with those prior to purchasing the wheel spacer. I hope to get that accomplished this week.

If the wheel spacer is needed I will purchase the Hill unit.

    Thanks for your insight.
