Will we have another Columbia Shuttle disaster?

The news sure leaves a lot of concern about Discovery's re-entry. The BBC reported: "Shuttle flight director Paul Hill said that, based on preliminary checks, engineers did not think the "chipped" tile was going to be a significant issue. We can't engineer anything to perfection, so I expected that we would shed some small tolerable amount of debris".

I'm not sure that NASA spent enough time to address the foam problem before the next launch.
