Incase you missed it On RPM there is a comp to win a drive in a 2006-F1 Toyota car!!!! http://www.rpmlive.tv/competitions/060427_rpm_toyota/default.aspx I got 11.5 size feet I just make it Im sure its a detuned F1 car but still!!!
Ok I decided to google it and you dont actually drive a Toyota F1 car http://www.racingschools.com/rs/AGS-Formula-1-Driving-School-c-1154.html That line above is confusing!!!(If I win, Im getting RMV to make sure I get to drive Ralfs car hahaha) Still its a nice comp to win
What's with this age 25 and over rule? Half the F1 grid, including the current world champion, are under 25.
Sideshow bob had huge feet http://www.ayecarumba.net/info/lists/other104.gif Sideshow Mel had the small ones I never thought they would let any ordinary person drive an F1 car? Some people have a hard time handling a Honda civic, let alone pushing a F1 car to its limits.
The F1 driving event is based in France, soo it would be French laws about driving age not here. I dont think any of the F1 drivers have insurance? If they crash the team flips the bill? Well anyone can drive a F1 car if you got the money its just if you want to actually race one in FIA F1, you need a super licence Tho as I mentioned in 2nd post its most prob an early/mid 90's example you actually drive(it mentions an ex-Prost F1 car). It also mentions they give you time in a F3 car b4 they give you time in a F1 car.
I should make it clear that my initial comment about insurance for under 25s was a poor attempt at humour! Sorry.
I was actually mentioning Mr StarWars remark about current world champ being 25!! I know very well about under 25 insurance, when I bought my 1st WRX brandnew 7yrs ago I was under the 25 bracket, and 99% of the insurance companies closed the fone on me after mentioning what car I just bought Shannons: Yes What car do u own? Me: Im under 25 and I own a WR....*fone clicks* HELLO? HELLO??!?!!?!?
You should try getting bike insurance through them... Although I did learn something from them, "enthusiast" is just another word for middle aged guys who never ride their bikes, just keep them locked up in the garage.....
This thread is playing up. My post didn't come up straight away, and I've only now seen Scott's explanation.
You know there's a 2 seater F3 car here... even for sale. It laps pretty damn fast too... a good driver would give you a spin you'd remember for a long time.
