    Hi.

Just rode shotgun in my 2010 458 Italia for the first time the other day, and I realized that the wind noise coming from the window was much louder on the passenger side than I'd ever heard it on the drivers side.

Just wanted to check if that was something anybody else had noticed, and if this is normal or if it's due to a poor adjustment of the passenger side window.

    Thanks.

I cannot say that I have heard of this happening very often. Maybe 1 or 2 cars in the past several years. ( 1 or 2 having a window regulator failure that allowed movement of the glass, not sealing as designed )

What I have found, is that cars that were Serviced but that the body seal treatment was skipped , over the years causing the rubber seals to shrink, allowing both water and air leaks.

Adjusting the window to fit the seal can be accomplished, but moving forward, try to make sure the seals are treated , and maybe they can be saved.

The shrinkage is minimal at first, but may be enough to cause the wind noise you are experiencing now. This occurs more often in hotter climates, but can happen anywhere, even in your garage.

GL and let us know what you discover,

Was the window open during winter-storage? It might take a while until the seal "readjusts"...
Did you close the window at high speed? Then it might have moved outside a little bit due to pressure-difference and all will be okay once you open the door or cycle the window up and down when the car is stationary...
