An update to my original post pertaining to my window pre-drop issue. Replaced the module with a $240 module bought off of Ebay. PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Both windows are functioning as they should. As Mello posted in the original thread, there is probably a single component failure in the module that is the culprit. I might have to crack the old one open and check out that LM 2904 Op Amp.

Word of advice. If you start experiencing issues with BOTH windows at the same time, its probably not a microswitch-in-the-door issue. First, disconnect the battery, leave overnight, then plug back in and run through the relearn process. Second, reseat the connectors in the doors and on the module itself. If none of that works, search out a cheap used module and replace it.

"So I've been having issues with the window auto drop feature on my 430 like several other people and I'm thinking its in the module. There are a few modules out there in the salvage world for around $250 guaranteed none-DOA for the first 30 days. The one I have in the car is OEM part number 234698. I can get an oem part number 185888 which is superseded by the 234698. Does anyone know the difference? I see both numbers listed for either 360 or 430 but I'd hate to go back to a previous version. There is always some sort of improvement or change when they come out with a newer version that warrants a complete change in the part number. $250 is cheap enough to try it but I'd rather not waste my time if there is any compelling reason not to. Thanks for any insight!"

Nice! Crack it open and see if the component placements are the same as my unit. I'm curious.
