    Has anyone ever removed just the window motor without removal of the cable/regulator, or is this not a possibility?
    The motor has failed electrically.

    On 82 GTSi I had removed the entire unit. But thinking over the motor assy it would be possible to remove the motor itself. Iirc the screws are not held on be nuts.
