I have a 1997 355 spyder, with windows that do not go up or down on both sides, when the car sits for a while they seem to work, does any one have a clue?

On the passenger side, will it do this from the switches on either door? We need more information.

Three things come to mind that you should check; fuses, relays, and the harness plug at the forward edge of both door jams.

Run a search of the archives using the words "slow windows", or something along those lines, and your answer should pop up. It will be dealing with what f355spider just pointed out.

    1) door connectors
    2) window switches
    3) fuses & relays

    Yup!

Also, the window tracks can become a bit kinked, slowing them down or even stopping them. Simple matter to bend them back into a workable shape, though.

Likewise, the grease inside the window tracks can get old/dirty and hard...slowing or stopping the window movement.
