Window problems

There is a Guy that sells a slow window fix kit. I think his name Frazer. you can do a search.

The window switches dont last forever either... you get better switches in a Kia.
At least the price to replace is similar to the quality... call Ricambi (look up for the phone number) they have them, and they're very cheap.

The slow windows is a 348 thing... all our windows are slow due to a very poor ground circuit engineered into the wiring harness.
Those accelerator box things improve the ground of the window motors... but dont make them a whole lot faster.

 

First things first.

1) Open you door and have a look at the connectors. These threads will give you a better idea of what you are looking for.

Looks like I may be having the same issue.

Gotta love the electrics on these things! Between this and the HVAC fan, need to find a few hours do dig in. New puppy is not helping!

 

Yup- cracked wires at the pins at the door harness.
