I remember seeing a thread on this site a while back on the window bars - the brass colored slide bar for the power window inside the door panel - about 12 inches long - inside the door panel? Wish I know the names ot things!

Well in that thread they showed that one of the lower brackets was broken. Mine is in the same shape. Has anyone bought any parts for their window before?

    Where did you go?

Did you buy just that bar or the whole mechanism?

I think it is on the big dark m that is in the Middle of the diagram. Not in the middle where the motor is but on one of the side bars c;ose to where number 32 is. The bracket has a bolt on it that gets attached to the inner door panel with a bolt. The bolt that hooks onto the inner door panel is close to number 6.

Maybe I need that whole door "M' mechanism?

The complete "M" thing, the window lift is in the $700 range. :(

You guys are great. Can't thanks those enough that post pictures. Helps those of us with questionable mechanic skills.

It looks like getting at the window is easier from the outside.

Think I'm going to try the 0.85 option first. Second - $700 clams!
