I've been told that the dealer who sold the car originally can obtain a copy - have you tried that?

 

Hmmmmm. Not sure I know the originating dealer and FNA is absolutely no help! I'm a 98 F1 hard top if anyone can help.

 

I just went through this and it is a dead end with FNA. I had two dealers try

 

The F1 is the model and not an option, see attached.

Dave - what does the FTS stand for? I argued with the Penfed folks that their system should read GTS. Guess I was wrong...and never looked closely at my own window sticker.

Ken, it's Bizzare becuase is does say "GTS" below and "FTS" above. No idea what it means..

I think FTS could mean "F1 Turismo Spyder":

from Wikipedia:
GTS ("Gran Turismo Spyder") in older models, are open Spyders (spelt "y"), or convertibles (see 365 GTS/4); however, in more recent models, this suffix is used for targa top models (see Dino 246 GTS, and F355 GTS; the exception being the 348 TS, which is the only targa named differently).

 

Dave - I noticed our cars are only ~35 units apart (111452). Maybe they even high-fived on the way down the assembly line.

On another note, mine did not get the upholstered top - does that mean you have leather sections on each side of the center fiberglass channel in the top? Or is the entire inside top covered in leather? Guess I need to see a picture to understand the differences. Mine has two sections of the same smooth-touch headliner material found on the roof just behind the seats. I am planning to have them replaced with leather sections at some point but now thinking maybe I can cover the whole thing.
