I purchased a 2010 Ferrari California. Is there any way to get a copy of the original window sticker for my particular car?

Call Ferrari North America. They helped me get an exact replica of the sticker!
I think they need to know who the original selling dealer was.

I know someone who did just that and was successful in getting his sticker; but when I called FNA, they they referred me back to the selling dealership and, sadly, I could never get the dealership to respond. I then called FNA back and was invited to leave voice-mails, as the person I sought never seemed to be at his work station. I finally gave up when I decided to sell the car. Others have been successful; I could never reach ANYONE who accepted responsibility for any type of an answer.

Interesting....I also left a message, the guy called me the next morning and was VERY helpful. He took my info and the VIN, and said he would take care of it. After he hung up, I thought that he was going to blow me off because it went too smoothly. After about 10 days, I got the window sticker in the mail! Here is the thread when I was inquiring about getting the sticker:

Wow! Not my experience at all. I do notice you are on the East Coast and would probably have been directed to a different rep than I. When I called, they (FNA) asked from which dealership the car was initially sold and then they directed me to a rep for that region. It might be the rep for my car's initial region was not as willing to assist???

I now have a need for a MSRP/sticker for my '09 Scud...it was sold from a different region (West Coast). Considering your experience, you have given me renewed hope. Thanks.

Thats the FNA I know and love.

Imagine that quality of support when the dealer you represent is trying to keep owners happy with their cars.

Encouraged by the experiences of others, I called Ferrari at 12:52 PM, California time. I advised the "voice" of the reason for my call (to get a window sticker) and her response was: "We don't do that, you will have to go through the selling dealership." I explained that I had zero response from the selling dealership after numerous attempts and her response was, "Sorry, we can't help you." I then explained my utter frustration to her and lack of success in past experiences and finally she suggested I call another number, which she provided. I called that number and was informed that they would transfer me to yet another department. The phone rang and I was back to a recorded message for the department in which this whole thing started. Hummm. Bad luck is what I am guessing. How many people work at Ferrari North America? Do they know how to use phones? I did leave another message, but I'm afraid I will not be as lucky as some of the rest of you folks :(

Next they will give you a fax number. The paper coming out of the machine falls directly into a trash can.

WOW sorry for your bad luck. :(
If anything I would have expected that I would have been the one to have a problem because my dealership was telling me that they couldn't do that for me. I tried to explain that they just had to contact FNA for it, and they flat out refused and said that they couldn't do it! Jerks! Not only did they not do THAT for me, but they didn't even take care of things (small things wrong with the car) that they said they would! Eventually with a lot of "pressure", I was able to get satisfaction from them, but still no sticker. Once I called FNA, they took care of everything, and notified the dealer, and it went perfectly smooth, with only one simple phone call to them on my part. I was thinking that FNA was great, and I just got a bad sample of one of their dealerships, now I'm thinking that I just got REALLY lucky with the right guy at FNA.
Just keep calling back until you get the guy I spoke with! LOL. Too bad I don't know who it was, that would have made your life easier, sorry.

This task should not be this difficult, especially when we are talking about $200K cars...there should be some level of service beyond "0" on a scale of 1 to 10 :( Sadly, I have been dealing with Ferrari issues since 1974. I guess that says something about me... masochist! They know we will buy the cars regardless of their indifference. I just picture, in my mind, FNA employees sitting around betting on which one can piss off more customers during the month...the one receiving the greatest number of complaints wins some sort of prize!

Hi, for getting original window stickers you must contact with your nearest Ferrari auto dealer.. He/she will surely help you to provide you high quality stickers..

HAhahhaha. Funny. Was waiting for the *beep* "please leave a message" after that posting.

Just tape record the call attempts and then call FNA back or leave a message telling them that you are "___insert_name_here___" and you're a producer for NBC nightly news doing a piece on how exotic dealerships have worse customer service than toyota."

See how that helps things. Then forward it to NBC nightly news or 20/20. They'll love the "evil rich getting their just dessert" story.. about how the rich are gluttons for punishment, spend more and get less etc. It's perfect human interest..

I saw this thread and thought, I would love a copy of my window sticker for my 360. I contacted FOA, where I bought the car but not the original dealer, and they contacted me today to say they have it, took about a week and I can't wait to go down Monday to get it.

I wanted to give a big thank you to Dan Burris and Will Campbell at FOA who facilitated this. You guys are the best!

I called Ferrari of NA and the person said that they don't handle that directly, and to call my dealer. I thought that meant I was about to go on a wild goose chase, back and forth between dealers and FNA, but decided to have a go.

Based on the threads on Ferrari chat, I elected to call the original dealer the car was delivered to, not my local dealer here on the west coast. So I looked up Ferrari of Atlanta and gave them a cold call. A receptionist answered and asked for my VIN. I gave it to her and at first she said my car wasn't coming up. But ran it again and there it was, so she transferred me to someone. He was very friendly and helpful, took down my info, and a few days later emailed to let me know he had received it via FedEx from Ferrari and put it in the mail to me.

I had the same experience as Andy with Ferrari of Atlanta. Thanks to Steve who got me my window sticker in under a week. It seems like they are top notch in customer service to handle such a small request so quickly.

Sounds like speaking to the dealerships is the way to go fellas. I read thru all the posts here and thats my conclusion. it sort of makes sense. perhaps FNA simply wants us to have better relations with the dealers??? okay maybe not...i actually agree more with "lets see how many rich folks we can piss off today" or something like that.

Anyhow, i bought my F430 two weeks ago today (well friday)...and i realized that i am only the seecond owner. Therefore, after i got home (i flew to CA to buy) i emailed my salesperson to see if he would be willing to check with previous owner for the original window sticker. Got an email in 15 minutes of a scanned image and "I'll try and find it for you." so i hope this means that he founds it and that its getting fed-exed to me!!! IF not, i beleve my salesperson is kind enough that he would get a hold of a replica for me from FNA. I bought from the same Ferrari dealer that sold the car new so i would hope that will make things easier if it should come to that. Nice thread. wlll keep ya'll posted!

    This was my understanding also.

They are issued by FNA though, not the dealer.

Given the circumstances, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to get a window sticker for your car.

When I bought my 360, I purchased it from a private seller. I was able to call my local Ferrari dealership and give them my vin. They told me where the car was sold new from and I calle that dealer. That dealer then took my vin and information and had another reprinted.

I have called FNA in the past for things and I think it is a building filled with employees who don't answer their phones and just stare out the window all day. Never had luck with FNA.
