430 Window switches

I searched but couldn't find anything definitive so thought id share it here. Is there a car known that we can take the window switches from?? The window switch for the passenger side failed on my car last sunday on track (off all things that you'd expect to fail on track, this failed) and want to replace it before going to the Nürburgring in a months time. The repair set I haven't found locally yet, and to import from the states is more expensive than buying a new switch so not worth it.

However sometimes we can pull parts from other cars, is that the case for the window switches that anyone knows of?

If you look closely enough, you might find evidence of a Ford emblem on the back or side of your switch. Most likely not made by Ford however, but rather filed off at the manufacturer before sending to Ferrari. Because of the age of the switch/design, it's unlikely used in any production vehicle today, so it is doubtful you will find one, unless you can find one in a salvage yard.

 

Check FleaBay(in UK/Germany) for Fiats/Alphas/Lancias of the same vintage and while the actual buttons might look slightly different they're probably identical functionally.
I'm assuming it is for use in a Track-Car

Actually its for a road car, it just happened to fail on track for some reason....

 

Does anyone know if the window switches of a Gransport are the same? on photos they do seem to look the same, the partsnumber is different ofcorse, and also the price, as the GranSport switches are 50% of the F430 switches prices...
