Windows 8 Plans Leaked...Microsoft Looks to Apple

Thanks for the link - Some "interesting" stuff indeed.

I wonder who's going to lose their balls over the leak? One could make an argument that although this stuff "showed up" on the net and is therefore fair game, it is labelled with "confidential" and "available only under NDA"......

Would surprise me if it's just Micro$haft letting people know that they can play in the Apple "party" too......

Purely a marketing ploy - a la the "lost" iphone 4 etc.....

App Store for Windows.

Brilliant! There are at least 3498234982349238423948233430473 apps for windows...why in hell do they need an app store? Let's look at MS's in house app store for Zune. No SDK, so they brew this crap themselves. 22 APPS FOR ZUNE. I can't fooking wait to pay MS $4.99 for their Sticky Notes App. Morons.

The rest is buzzword bingo as I stated before.

MS doesn't know their market and by extension cannot know their product or create one. Look at the fantastic Zune HD's media capabilities and OS, then look at how...there's no coherent interface for it with Windows 7 or it's media center...then look at Xbox 360's integration with media center and everything else and it's good! Look at W7 mobile and how it's a steaming pile of crap.

MS needs a reboot and a firing of about 100,000 people.

 

They need to be paying more attention to mobile devices right now. That's the future, not this.

RMX
