Windshield Wiper and Controls?

So I am assuming you can hear your washer motor working when you activate it?

Or is water leaking out from that area where the joiner is?

I would remove the boot trim to get to that joiner.

 

I just performed this exact thing for the exact same reason.

It is not as difficult as it appears-but you do have to remove the bonnet lining

Start by pulling off the rubber seal (do not pull it right off as it is easier to reinstall later, just pull from windshield down towards the nose)

Then you will have to unscrew the three metal braces in the bonnet they are held by three screws each 2 long 1 short

The little plastic splitter you are looking for should be located underneath the drivers side wiper you might need long needle nose pliers to work on it pretty tight spot.

My problem was that the hose end was too loose and popped out I had to re splice and refit, total job took about 1/2 hour.

How do you turn on the washer anyway? I have never used it.
