Is it the same car on the pictures (262 UYH)? In most of them a two piece windscreen is shown, while on the pic with the track number 186 the car shows a single piece windscreen.

Yes, same car. Originally born with two pieces.
My pic with race number 186 is from 27 August 1977, taken in the Laguna Seca paddock during the 4th Annual Monterey historic automobile races where it had a single piece windscreen.

Here's another pic which I took 11 August 2004 on 17-Mile-Drive in Pebble Beach.

I took them last Saturday. The car was exhibited on The Long Walk, in front of the Concours d'Elegance entrance.

OK thanks. Which blue 250 GT Cabriolet S1 is sitting next to 0403 GT?
    S/N? Pix?

    Thank you.

Marcel, these three cars (the third was a tourquoise Lussso registered 250L), were all being displayed by Talacrest outside the main show area.

The blue S1 Cabriolet is 1475 GT which has been repainted now and which was originally painted Giallo Solare.
1475 GT is the last Series One 250 GT Cabriolet and ex-Hilary Raab, sold 17 August 2014 at Gooding's Pebble Beach auction to Collins/Talacrest.

The 250 GT Lusso is 5715 GT, completed 8 April 1964, originally Blu Chiaro 18343 M Italver with Nero VM 8500 interior and delivered new to Maranello Concessionaires Ltd.. This is #318 of 350 units built.

See my other thread if you have any pictures from Saturday. A real dilemma as Salon Prive, Concours of Elegance and France's Chantilly all clash.

Suggest to travel by helicopter next year.
Unless the three event organizers come to their senses and start talking to each other. Seems that all three events had less spectators than in the past year. No wonder.

All three are easily done if planned properly. No need for a helicopter (although might make things easier for sure). I agree that I find all 3 events too close together and it forces people to choose one or the other which is a shame.....

Generally it seems that the better 'vintage' cars were at Windsor - it's a much better value show as a spectator than Salon Prive as well and in a more special location too. Love that 250 S1 Cabrio in gold. Saw it first at Cavallino Classic a few years ago and always thought it was a stunning looking machine

Some cars have it, some don't.
The ferrari sheild on the front mudguard /fender , just before the A pillar.
Is this purely cosmetic or was there originally a reason for this ?
