I was at Premier Wines in Plano earlier today and talked to Keith about their wine tasting classes. Is anyone interested in doing one of these? The cost is zero and we need at least 15 people. The event would probably be on a Thursday night but might be arranged for a Saturday afternoon. We would get the opportunity to sample whites, reds, blushes and sparkling . I was thinking maybe early November, as they require a 2 week notice. Anybody on board for this? Seems like it would be a fun evening or afternoon.

I am in the same boat, but that didn't seem to faze them. Keith's attitude is just show up for some really good tasting wine, a fun evening and some good information. If a couple of bottles of wine are purchased then they are even happier. And the price is right!:)

I will talk to Keith, but what they try to do is give an orientation to all types of wine. They generally offer about 15 different types during one of these tastings.

At this point, if everyone shows up, there are 14 of us. What we need to decide is do we want to do this on a Thursday evening at 7:30 PM or do we want to do it on a Saturday afternoon about 2:30 PM. The probable available dates are Thursday night either the 1st or the 8th or Saturday afternoon either the 3rd or the 10th.

We would likely attend if our football/soccer/band/travel schedules don't interfere. Later in the month of Nov is better, as is Thursday.

For those on the west side of metroplex (like me) & cannot make it to this event be sure to check out Pop's Safari in the heart of the cultural district of Ft Worth. Great food, wine tasting, cigars, & live music on the weekends. Be sure to check it out.
