Hey guys, I'll be flying in for this one. For those of you who know me but have never gotten to see my "other" ride, this will be a great chance. Let me know if you plan on stopping by.

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif.-Wings, Wheels, Rotors, and Exposition event is from 9:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the Los Alamitos Army
Airfield located at the Joint Forces Training Base.

The Wings, Wheels, Rotors and Expo is an Open House and family event
sponsored by the Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce and the Joint Forces
    Training Base.

All activities will take place on the flight line on Los Alamitos Army
Airfield. The highlight of the event is the United States Army's Golden
Knights, also known as the world's premiere military precision parachute
jumpers. The paratroopers will make several jumps landing on the airfield.

The airfield is the last remaining military airfield in the greater Los
Angeles and Orange County areas and has the longest runways in Orange County.
Also, the Joint Forces Training Base is the Disaster Support Area for
Southern California. The airfield serves as a large area, ideal for events
including Wings, Wheels, Rotors, and Expo and Race on the Base.

On display will be military aircraft, helicopters, radio controlled
airplanes, military equipment, warbirds, public safety equipment and many
classic cars. Aircraft flyovers are planned along with airplane static
    displays among the cars.
Wings Wheels and Rotors will present rotary wing appreciation day. Various
civilian and public safety helicopters with fire, police and military
rotorcraft including the media aircraft seen daily in the skies around
Southern California will be on display for all visitors. Along with the
airplanes and warbirds are helicopter flights in civilian "choppers" for a
small fee and free flights in general aviation airplanes by the Experimental
Aircraft Association Young Eagles for interested youth between ages seven and
    18 years old.

The largest event will be a huge car show with classic cars, new automobiles,
antique vehicles, motorcycles and hotrods all over the aircraft parking
ramps. Trophy's for best cars to be awarded. There will be many events for
children and the rest of the family. Additionally, there will be food,
including breakfast and lunch, music, vendors, displays, raffles, auctions,
demonstrations, flybys and various other activities for all.

Proceeds will go to the military's Morale Welfare and Recreation for armed
forces personnel assigned to the base. Vendor space and sponsor opportunities
are available along with car registrations. Both admission and parking are
free. Open to the public. Picture I.D required for entrance to the Joint
    Forces Training Base.

Media and the community are invited. The Joint Forces Training Base is
located at 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA, 90720, (OC Thomas Guide,
PP 797). For more information, visit the Website at http://www.wwrexpo.net,
or call the Los Alamitos City Chamber of Commerce.
